Advent Project:
Gestures of Generosity
H.U.G. Tree -"Helping U Give"

For the season of Advent, our Parish is practicing Gestures of Generosity by collecting necessary items for various community services of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa. We continue to include St Mary's Home for new baby clothes as a continued Parish Service Project for the Season of Advent and Christmas.

Read more about the Spirit of Saint Nicholas from Saint Nicholas Centre.

Below is a list of the items designated to each week of Advent, connecting our lectionary texts, weekly themes, and particular stories of Saint Nicholas on the Spirit of Giving.

Parishioners are invited to participate in the Anglican Day Programs Giving Tuesday Campaign. As winter looms, Ottawa’s homeless population will struggle more than ever with life on the streets. Responding to this increasingly difficult situation, The Well, St Luke’s Table and Centre 454, Community day programs, Cornerstone.

In advance, we thank you for your generosity.

Donated items will be hung as “ornaments” on trees located at Trinity Anglican Church in Bearbrook and St Mary's Anglican Church in Navan.
